RAVELÓID POSTPONED FOR 2016
...BUT IT'S STILL COMING!
WHAT IS RAVELÓID?
Ireland's most unique summer festival!
Ravelóid is a new unique summer festival in which people will come together to celebrate today’s Irish language culture – music, dance, comedy, drama, sport, literature and more – and to enjoy the wonder and diversity of our beautiful world.
It is with great reluctance that the Board of Directors of Ravelóid have decided to postpone Ravelóid and it will no longer take place in 2016. The festival was originally planned for 10-11 June 2016 in Ardgillan Castle, Balbriggan, Co Dublin and has been postponed due to a number of production factors.
Ravelóid fully apologies for any disappointment caused and will ensure that everyone who purchased tickets will receive full refunds in the coming week.
Ravelóid would also like to thank all those individuals and organisations who provided help, advice and assistance over the last twelve months, especially Ireland 2016, RTÉ 2fm, Roinn na Gaeltachta and Fingal County Council.
The goodwill shown to Ravelóid among the general public, especially over the last few weeks, both nationally and internationally, has proven that there is a strong demand for a contemporary Irish language music festival.
The Board will be working in the coming months on an alternative date.
